Chase
Montgomery returns to NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series
competition this weekend at Las
Vegas Motor Speedway where he
will pilot the No. 76 Them Boyz
Network/EQ Chevrolet. His
participation in the Smith's Las
Vegas 350 on Saturday night will
be his first race since the
season opener in Daytona where
he finished 19th.
"This has
been the longest stretch of time
that I have been out of a race
car for as long as I can
remember," stated Chase. "It
has been a difficult summer for
me to stand back and watch - so
I am extremely excited about
getting back behind the wheel.
While it has been hard, I also
think that this time away has
made me appreciate racing more
and realize how important it is
to me."
Montgomery will be making his
53rd career start in the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series and his
fourth career start at the Las
Vegas Motor Speedway - he has
two previous starts in the
Craftsman Truck Series (2004,
2005) as well as one Busch
Series start (2003) at the
1.5-mile track.
Joining
Montgomery this week will be
sponsor "Them Boyz Network" - a
group of individuals from a
variety of professional business
backgrounds joined together to
network their business contacts
enabling them to compliment the
goals and objectives of their
clients. This weekend in Las
Vegas they will officially
introduce the company and a
unique energy drink tablet in
conjunction with EQ Energy
Drink.
"I
really appreciate the support
from these great sponsors and
the belief that they have in me
and the sports as a marketing
tool," said Chase. "During my
time away from racing I have
focused on the business side of
the sport and more importantly
finding sponsors such as Them
Boyz Network and EQ to partner
with. It has been a long road
but I think it has helped me
understand all aspects of this
sport a little better. I just
can't wait to get back behind
the wheel."
